Congenitally Short Femur

Chelsea's left femur was five centimeters short and angulated fifteen degrees

The drawings illustrate the gradual correction of angulation, followed by lengthening.

The x-ray and photo are taken 8 weeks after surgery. The photo shows good function and weight bearing without crutches

The x-ray and photo show good healing with residual leg length difference remaining in the tibia, to be lengthened in the future.
