Gradual Upper Tibial Distraction Osteotomy
with Orthofix Procallus Monolateral Fixator.

This patient has bilateral medial knee arthritis with unstable ligaments on the left side.

The upper tibial osteotomy is being distracted with the Orthofix Procallus fixator and the x-ray illustrates new bone formation in the gradually forming wedge.

Both knees achieved good alignment with improved loading on the outer aspect of each knee, therefore, relieving pain and improving function.
