Contracture
This young lady sustained a tragic head injury which caused spasticity
and joint contractures. The photo and x-ray show the maximum she
was able to straighten her knee.

her knee joint.

X-rays show the knee as it was extended.

The photo shows that walking is possible in the device. X-rays
show the knee joint after treatment. Her knee motion was from
0 to 90 degrees, about 2/3 normal.
